Sequester

 Sequester:  take legal possession of (assets) until a debt has been paid or other claims have been met

The problem with sequester is that the government is playing the game with other people's lives. It doesn't impact Congress itself. Congress does not have any skin in the game. If they had something to lose, they would be dealing with it more efficiently. Sequester includes the word 'quest.' Congress has yet to take up the quest to really find a solution from the quagmire this country is in. One key element is the creation of good paying jobs. Let Congress and the White House put their own pay on the line until they find a solution.
