A Call and Response

Let Us Move Forward in a Rebirth of Wonder 

With right intention based on faith, knowledge and reason

     Let us move forward in a rebirth of wonder

With right speech and abstaining from speaking ill of others

     Let us move forward in a rebirth of wonder

With right action, acting for the benefit of all creatures

     Let us move forward in a rebirth of wonder

With right view, not being jealous of others’ achievements

     Let us move forward in a rebirth of wonder

With right livelihood, unattached to the fruits of our labor

     Let us move forward in a rebirth of wonder

With right mindfulness, being grateful for each moment

     Let us move forward in a rebirth of wonder

With right effort, but knowing that ultimately we are not the doers

     Let us move forward in a rebirth of wonder

With right concentration, not lingering on happiness and distress, past and future

     Let us move forward in a rebirth of wonder

And knowing that this Wonder is always manifesting within us and all around us

     Let us move forward in a perpetual rebirth of wonder*
